Feather Wreath

Here's is a wreath I made for my sister-in-law who retired this past year from teaching.  She's a glamour girl who loves all things that glitter.  I took the pink feather wreath from Michael's and added a peony flower that I attached with toothpicks since both the wreath and the flower were made with foam.  I then used spray adhesive to stick a nice scrapbook paper to some photo paper to give it a little weight.  I cut them into triangles and added a decorative strip to the center before attaching another small square of paper with the letter on top of it all.  Last, I added some glitter to the letters for some extra sparkle! The banner is held together with small heart brads.  It came out very girly and fun.

Here's a little tip for wrapping a wreath - go to Party City and buy a cake box (it was around $2.70 for the 16x16x4 box)  They have several different sizes!

Here's Cheri opening her gift. I think she really liked it!!  Happy Retirement to Cheri and her sweet husband, Bob.
Enjoy life!

With a twist!
